ServiceTracked for

Electrical

Code-compliant quotes, written while you're still on the ladder.

Electrical work runs on code compliance, accurate scoping, and documentation - and homeowners get nervous when any of those feel vague. ServiceTracked tightens up the whole quote-to-invoice cycle. Speak the diagnosis (panel is at 80% capacity, kitchen circuit is undersized for the new induction range, missing AFCI on the bedroom circuits, GFCI required at the new bathroom outlet), snap photos of the panel, fixtures, and any code violations, and ServiceTracked builds a quote that calls out which items are code-required, which are owner-requested upgrades, and which are recommended best practice. The customer-facing report explains the why behind each line - homeowners are more likely to approve a $300 AFCI breaker swap when the report makes clear it's a code requirement, not an upsell. For commercial and rental property work, the PDF includes timestamps + photos suitable for permit applications. And because every job builds the customer record, the next service call starts with full panel + circuit history.

Frequently asked

Can I flag which line items are code-required vs optional?
Yes. Mention it in the voice memo ("code-required: two AFCI breakers") and the line is labeled as such in the quote. Helps homeowners distinguish must-do from nice-to-have.
What about permit fees - are they included or pass-through?
Configure how you handle permits in Settings (included in line item, separate line, or pass-through estimate). ServiceTracked applies your setting; mention in the voice memo if a specific job differs.
Can I quote with options the homeowner can choose between?
Yes. Speak the options ("option A: 150-amp upgrade at $X covers current load; option B: 200-amp at $Y covers future EV + hot tub") and both appear in the quote.
Do you handle commercial work too?
Yes - the same flow works for commercial. Speak the scope, snap panel + load center photos, and ServiceTracked builds a multi-line quote with commercial-rate pricing if you've configured it. Annual maintenance contracts are tracked in the customer record.
Can my journeyman send quotes without owner approval?
By default yes; on Team / Business tiers you can configure an approval gate so any quote over $X requires owner sign-off in the app before it can be sent. Useful when journeymen quote on-site but the owner reviews pricing.
