Frequently asked

Can I send the before / after photos to the owner before pickup?: Yes - that's the most common flow. Snap the photos after the cut dries, tap Send. The owner gets the report email before they show up; many use it to share on social media too.
What about anxious dogs - can I add notes about behavior?: Yes. Mention it in the voice memo ("Bella was nervous around the dryer, took it slow") and ServiceTracked includes a friendly note in the customer report. The customer record keeps it so next visit's groomer sees the heads-up.
Can I quote by breed at fixed prices?: Yes. Set up a per-breed price book; ServiceTracked matches the breed from the voice memo and applies your saved price. Override per-dog if temperament or coat length changes the time.
Mobile grooming - does it work in the van without wifi?: The app records voice + photos offline. When the van returns to cell or wifi coverage, it uploads and the quote is generated. The customer can wait a few minutes for the quote without you needing service at the stop.
Do owners pay through the Report, or do I take payment in person?: At launch you take payment your usual way at the end of the job (cash, Zelle, Venmo, your existing card reader); the Report itemizes the work and total and doubles as the customer's receipt with your payment instructions. The portal does not process payment at launch. In-product tap-to-pay at completion ships in Year 2.
